The story
LUMA & CO. TEXTILE was founded in 2007 by a small group of textile engineers in Gaoyang, Zhejiang — a region that had been weaving cotton for hospitality and export markets for three generations. The founding bet was simple: small B2B textile mills could not compete with the giants on commodity volume, but they could win on craft, integration and accountability.
Eighteen years later, that bet still drives us. We are still small enough that the people who quote you also run the looms, talk to the dye-house, and stand on the QC line. We are large enough to handle 50,000+ piece programs across cabins, decks, spa wraps and retail merch in a single PO. We have built our hospitality, lifestyle retail and athletic brand programs around being a contract manufacturer that thinks like a brand partner — not a wholesaler.

What we will and will not do
We will custom-quote any program of 500+ pieces per design; share factory photos, QC checkpoint reports, mid-run inspection images and pre-shipment SGS reports; honor the prices quoted in our PO regardless of cotton market movement; ship under your brand label exclusively and never inside customer-facing packaging with our own branding.
We will not take cost-out-only programs that compromise the product (cheap GSM, open-end yarn, single-needle hems); ship below our OEKO-TEX Class I baseline; produce for buyers competing directly with existing exclusive accounts in the same vertical; promise lead times we cannot deliver.
Visit the factory
We welcome buyer visits — most weeks we have at least one client team in the building. Standard visit is a full day: production walk-through, decoration house, fabric library, QC line, sample room. We have hosted teams from boutique hotel groups, athletic apparel brands, beach club operators and DTC home-textile brands.
Plan a visit through our merchandising team at [email protected] or WhatsApp +86 13384590853.
